The first photos for my 30 day challenge! I played around with soft, concentrated lighting. I set up the tripod and hooked up a small light that I covered with one of the smaller flash diffuser boxes. I’ve been getting into more black and white photography, and I’ve been DIY-ing light boxes and diffuser boxes left and right.

I wanted to capture a certain mood by keeping it a little grainy, and not enhancing the highlights. I’m still experimenting with black and white, but I’m pretty happy with how these turned out.
